To unlock different heroes, you can purchase them with either Dungeon Rampage coins or gems. There is no best hero to use in Dungeon Rampage. In short, pick your favorite hero and stick with it. A good team should have a few damage dealers and tanks to absorb incoming enemy fire. However, in general, the new hero classes seem to have more advanced forms of game play, compared to the beginning class of Berserkers.
